Holmes Applauds House Passage of House Bill 291
COLUMBUS – Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) applauded the passage of House Bill 291, which was unanimously approved by the House of Representatives on Thursday. “Two bills we introduced earlier this year- to designate the SFC Ron Rosser Medal of Honor Recipient Memorial Highway and create the Ohio Aerospace Institute License plate, were included in this bill,” Holmes said “It so exciting to see these initiatives move forward.”
If enacted, HB 291 will establish the SFC Ron Rosser Medal of Honor Recipient Memorial Highway between mile markers 132 and 133 on I-70 as tribute to the decorated veteran and Ohio native who passed away last August. The Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI) license plate will be available for purchase at Ohio BMV locations and a portion of funds will go to supporting the organization’s internships and educational programs.
The is now headed for the Senate for further consideration.
