Adam Holmes appointed to committees
COLUMBUS −State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) was recently appointed to serve as chairman of the Joint Medicaid Oversight Committee for the 135th General Assembly.
The Joint Medicaid Oversight Committee consists of five State Senators and five State Representatives and provides continuing oversight of all facets of the state's Medicaid program. The committee oversees Medicaid compliance, evaluates legislation for long-term impact on Medicaid, and assists in limiting the rate of spending growth, while improving quality of care and health outcomes for individuals enrolled in the state's Medicaid program.
Holmes was also recently appointed to the House Aviation and Aerospace Committee. He spent more than 27 years in the Marine Corps as an aviator. His experience includes more than 40 combat missions supporting missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom and 3,000 flight hours supporting crisis response missions around the world.
