State Reps. Keller, Conditt Honor the 2016 Scholastic Action Shooting Program National Champions
COLUMBUS—State Representatives Candice Keller (R-Middletown) and Margy Conditt (R-Liberty Township) yesterday presented a resolution honoring the Ohio Steel Stingers as 2016 Scholastic Action Shooting Program National Champions.
At the 2016 SASP National Championship which was held in the vicinity of Marengo, Ohio, the Ohio Steel Stingers secured the first place title in the Iron Rifle in four divisions: Rookie, Intermediate/Entry, Intermediate/Advanced, and Senior/Junior Varsity. The team also placed third in the Rimfire Pistol in the Intermediate/Entry, Intermediate/Advanced, and Senior/Junior Varsity divisions.
“It was quite an honor to present my first House Resolution to the Ohio Steel Stingers from the Butler County 4H program,” said Rep. Keller. “Their accomplishments as national champions demonstrate good sportsmanship, citizenry, and excellence in all they do.”
“I was delighted to recognize the talent that Butler County showcases through this impressive team,” said Rep. Conditt. “These young men and women have clearly distinguished themselves not only through their athletic talent but also through their perseverance and sportsmanship.”
