“The 92nd House District has several prisons, and I have been able to see first-hand the tremendous impact that Director Mohr has had on these prisons and all those throughout Ohio,” said Scherer. “I am proud to call Director Mohr a close friend, and am confident that he and his staff are more than deserving of this national recognition.”

Mohr, a Chillicothe resident, was honored with the award for his innovation that he brings to Ohio’s correction facilities and his work to ensure offenders are able to succeed in society following their release.
