Schmidt Issues Statement on Second Amendment Preservation Act

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) today issued a statement on House Bill 51, the Second Amendment Preservation Act. 

“I’m saddened to see my colleagues vote down adding the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) to Senate Bill 58. I will never stop fighting for our second amendment rights and will continue to urge passage of SAPA. I have signed a discharge petition and hope my colleagues will join me in order to move this important legislation forward."
