Roemer Receives NFIB Guardian of Small Business Award
COLUMBUS –The National Federation of Independent Business awarded State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) the prestigious Guardian of Small Business Award for his outstanding work on small business issues in the legislature.
The Guardian of Small Business Award is the most prominent recognition that NFIB gives legislators in recognition and appreciation of their efforts to support small businesses.
“I am thankful to NFIB for recognizing my efforts to help small businesses across Ohio,” Roemer said. “More than 900,000 small businesses in the Buckeye State employ nearly 2.2 million people. We must continue to build strong relationships and have continued support for the businesses that serve and employ so many Ohioans.”
NFIB State Director Chris Ferruso presented the award to Roemer and Sen. Bill Reineke at NFIB’s annual Small Business Day at the Capitol in Columbus.
“Representative Roemer has a 100% NFIB voting record and took the lead on the accelerated bonus depreciation and municipal income tax bills, legislation that has a big impact on Ohio’s small businesses,” Ferruso said.
