Representative Roemer Celebrates Szalay's Farm and Market 95th Anniversary

State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) was honored to present a commendation to Szalay’s Farm and Market on the occasion of its 95th year in business.

“The entire Szalay family has made Szalay’s Farm and Market a true staple of our community,” said Roemer. “My wife Josie and I have always appreciated what Szalay’s means to the generations of families who have made it a cherished tradition to visit the farm.”

Established in 1931, this once-vegetable farm has expanded into a specialized sweet corn farm and an old-fashioned farm market that offers a wide variety of fruits and veggies fresh from the fields. Szalay’s Farm has become a destination for families across Northeast Ohio and is located within the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
