(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – State Representative Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County) voted in support of Ohio’s Capital Budget bill, a two-year capital improvements budget for state and community projects throughout the state.

Rep. Pizzulli helped secure $923,000 in investments for the following community projects in Scioto County:

  • Scioto County Fairgrounds Building Renovations - $100,000
  • Rush Township Veteran Memorial Project - $121,000
  • Madison Township Community Park Improvements - $100,000
  • Market Square Park Improvements - $250,000
  • Scioto County Heritage Museum Renovation - $152,000
  • South Webster City Hall Events Center and Museum Project - $200,000

“These projects will make a transformational impact on our community,” said Pizzulli. “This funding will directly enhance the quality of life and economic opportunities in Scioto County and throughout the greater Appalachian Region.”

Through this bill, Ohio House Republicans prioritized investing in Ohio’s future by expanding access to education and healthcare through new facilities or upgrades to existing ones, improving parks and roadways to better connect communities, and strengthening local facilities across the state by providing necessary funding for enhancements.

This bill now heads to the Governor for consideration.
