Rep. Pizzulli Secures $1 Million for Adams County

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – State Representative Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County) voted in support of Ohio’s Capital Budget bill, a two-year capital improvements budget for state and community projects throughout the state.
Rep. Pizzulli helped secure $1,023,500 in investments for the following community projects in Adams County:
- Ellison Landing Park Improvements - $350,000
- Sprigg Township Old Bentonville Community Park - $150,000
- Adams County Fairgrounds Improvements - $50,000
- Adams County Heritage Museum - $150,000
- Copas Cemetery Fence Replacement Project - $6,500
- West Union Biking Path - $150,000
- Adams County Association for Developmental Disabilities Accessibility Project - $167,000
“These projects will make a transformational impact on our community,” said Pizzulli. “This funding will directly enhance the quality of life and economic opportunities in Adams County and throughout the greater Appalachian Region.”
Through this bill, Ohio House Republicans prioritized investing in Ohio’s future by expanding access to education and healthcare through new facilities or upgrades to existing ones, improving parks and roadways to better connect communities, and strengthening local facilities across the state by providing necessary funding for enhancements.
This bill now heads to the Governor for consideration.
