Rep. Peterson Applauds Controlling Board Approval for Southern State Technology Innovation Center

State Representative Bob Peterson (R-Sabina) is pleased to share that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $66,693 for Southern State Community College to renovate a classroom into a new IT Center of Excellence.

“I was pleased to help secure this funding through the Capital Budget and am excited to see the enhanced educational opportunities that will be provided to Southern State students,” said Peterson.

This funding will help modernize and expand the current computer facilities at Southern State Community College, providing access to cybersecurity and IT trainings for more students.

The Ohio Controlling Board oversees requests for changes to budgetary authority for state agencies.
