Rep. Manning Applauds Controlling Board Approval of Funding for Findley State Park Improvements

State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) is pleased to share that the Ohio Controlling Board on Monday approved $7,644,489 in funding to make improvements to Findley State Park in Lorain County.
“I’m pleased that Findley State Park will receive funding to make the much-needed renovations to such a beloved place in the community,” said Manning. “I look forward to visiting when the renovations are complete!”
Findley State Park will use the funding for the following:
- Upgrading Multiple existing campground sites
- Replacing old utilities throughout the park
- Completing a full renovation of the Shower house
This project is expected to be completed in November 2027.
The Ohio Controlling Board oversees requests for changes to budgetary authority for state agencies.
