Rep. Boose to Host Ohio BWC Roundtable

State Representative Terry Boose (R-Norwalk) has announced that he is welcoming all Huron County business owners to a roundtable discussion with Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Administrator/CEO Steve Buehrer on March 10, 2014. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Huron County Chamber of Commerce offices, located at 10 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.

The roundtable discussion is an opportunity for an open dialogue between local business owners and Administrator Buehrer. Attendees will learn about BWC’s ongoing initiatives and have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input for improvements.

“I appreciate that Administrator Buehrer is taking the time to meet with local business owners,” said Boose. “I welcome all Huron County business owners to learn about Ohio BWC and to provide their input on how it can continue to best protect Ohio workers while containing costs for Ohio businesses.”

The meeting will be followed by an 11:30 a.m. visit to Norwalk’s David Price Metals, which provides an array of custom metal working and fabrication services to its customer base that operates in a number of diverse industries. The company was awarded a Safety Intervention Grant to purchase an overhead crane that will reduce the risk of injuries its employees. Buehrer and Boose will tour the company and present the $40,000 check.
