Loychik Works with OGWA, President Matt Coday to Bring Bottled Water Shipment to East Palestine
A collaboration this week between State Rep. Mike Loychik (R-Bazetta) and the Ohio and Gas Workers Association (OGWA) is bringing aid to the residents of East Palestine.
The move comes after former President Trump’s visit to the village on Wednesday.
“If Biden and his Transportation Secretary Buttigieg can't get the job done after weeks of inaction then I'm going to work directly with my colleagues and connections to make sure people have safe drinking water after this derailment disaster," said Loychik.
Loychik coordinated with OGWA and its President Matt Coday out of Odessa, Texas, to provide multiple semi-trucks to ship bottled water to East Palestine. Residents have been turning to bottled water as a precaution due to the chemical spill from the train derailment.
Currently the semi-trucks are in-route to deliver the bottled water to East Palestine.
