Lorenz Sworn in to Fill 60th House District Seat
Delaware County Republican Brian Lorenz (R-Powell) has been appointed to fill the unexpired term for the 60th House District seat after the untimely passing of State Representative Kris Jordan.
“I am humbled and honored to have received the appointment to fulfill the term of the late Representative Kris Jordan,” said Lorenz. “I will represent the constituents of the 60th House District with the highest level of integrity and transparency while defending our constitutional freedoms, improving infrastructure and development all while keeping government lean and efficient.”
Lorenz has been a City of Powell councilman since 2010. He also served as the Mayor of Powell from 2016 to 2017. He also represented the city as a member of the Powell Community Improvement Corporation and previously served on the planning and zoning commission for six years.
He participates in many volunteer activities such as a swim official for the YMCA and the Knights of Columbus.
Lorenz is married to Sue and has one son, Henry, and triplet girls, Annie, Betsy and Charlotte. All are very active in the community and have lived in Powell since 2006.
