John Announces Controlling Board Funding for OSU-Mansfield Projects

State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) has announced approval of several OSU-Mansfield projects by the Ohio State Controlling Board. The allocations include hundreds of thousands of dollars for various construction and professional design services for OSU-Mansfield initiatives.

“I’m happy to report the Controlling Board has moved forward in the approval of these Mansfield projects for the enhancement of buildings serving the educational purposes of our students right here in Richland County,” said John.

The following appropriations for the projects include:

  • $168,179 toward HVAC and emergency generators purposes for construction services at OSU-Mansfield.
  • $157,657 toward Recreation Center Life Safety - Mansfield for construction services for the Center bleachers project at OSU-Mansfield.
  • $49,858 toward Boiler Replacements for professional design services for the project at OSU-Mansfield.
  • $21,427 toward Recreation Center Life Safety - Mansfield for professional design services for a Center fire alarm upgrade project at OSU-Mansfield.

The next Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for Aug. 2.
