Hoops Appointed as Chair of Development Committee

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Jim Hoops (R-Napoleon) has been appointed by Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman (R-Lima) as Chair of the House Development Committee for the 136th General Assembly. 

“As Chair of the Development Committee, I am committed to working on legislation that spurs economic opportunity and growth in our communities,” said Hoops.

Hoops is currently serving his fourth and final term as state representative for the 81st House district, which encompasses all of Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties and the northern portion of Defiance County.

In addition to chairing the Development Committee, Hoops will serve on the House Commerce and Labor, Community Revitalization, and Finance committees.
