Home and Business Owners May be Eligible for Damage Repair
State Representative Anthony DeVitis (R-Green) today announced that State Treasurer Josh Mandel has continued the Renew Ohio and Rebuild Ohio programs. The programs assist Ohioans whose properties were damaged by the severe weather this past year.
With the severe cold and snow of the winter and thunderstorms of the spring, Summit County has been hit hard recently by the weather. Those in the 36th House District whose property has been damaged are eligible for an interest rate reduction on new or current loans.
The two programs are:
- Renew Ohio: assists small business owners and the agricultural community whose businesses or farms have been damaged;
- Rebuild Ohio: assists homeowners applying for construction or other loans to rebuild or repair their homes.
Those interested in either program must meet eligibility requirements and then complete the application process. More information can be found by contacting the State Treasurer’s office, Economic Development Department or visiting www.OhioTreasurer.gov.
