Holmes Appointed to House Technology & Innovation Committee
COLUMBUS – Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) last week appointed State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport) to the House Technology & Innovation Committee.
“My personal experience in Marine Corps aviation and chairmanship of the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Technology Committee have made me extremely familiar with organizing, developing and employing high technology systems. It’s an honor to be selected to help upgrade Ohio’s technological capabilities,” said Holmes.
Holmes attended his first meeting as a member of the committee last Wednesday, during which hearings were held on bills regarding state use of block chain technology to increase the efficiency and security of Ohio’s information management systems.
In addition to his new appointment, Holmes also serves as Vice Chair of the House Health Committee and as a member of the House Armed Services & Veterans Affairs Committee and Behavior Health & Recovery Supports Committee.
