Callender Receives Award for Conservative Excellence

COLUMBUS—The Center for Legislative Accountability recently awarded State Representative Jamie Callender (R-Concord) the Award for Conservative Excellence based on his conservative voting record.

In 2022, Callender scored a 94%. This percentage is determined by a legislator’s voting record on policies designated as conservative priorities for the Center for Legislative Accountability. This score of 94% makes Representative Callender among the most conservative members of the Ohio House, joining three of his colleagues to receive the highest honor. 

“I believe in strong conservative policy that will make Ohio a better place to work, live, and raise a family,” said Callender. “I am proud to receive this recognition and will continue to be a strong conservative voice for my constituents.”

The Center for Legislative Accountability produces an annual conservative scorecard for legislators at both the federal and state levels.
