State Representative Kathleen Clyde Sworn into Office
COLUMBUS –State Representative Kathleen Clyde (D-Kent) took the oath of office today at the opening session of the 130th Ohio General Assembly. She was sworn in at the Ohio Statehouse for her second term, following the results of the November 2012 general election.
“I am honored to continue serving the people of Portage County at the Statehouse,” said Rep. Clyde. “Over the next two years, I look forward to reaching across the aisle to tackle the budget, to address local school and community funding issues, to fight for Ohio jobs and much more. As always, I encourage citizens to contact my office at any time with thoughts and concerns about bills or issues facing our communities and our state.”
Rep. Clyde represents the 75h Ohio House District, serving Streetsboro, Kent, Ravenna, Rootstown and all of Southern Portage County.
