Rep. Sobecki, House Dems ask Governor and Department of Health to issue guidance for schools

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lisa Sobecki (D-Toledo) and members of the House Democratic Caucus today sent a letter to Gov. Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton asking his office and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) to issue guidance for schools to allow districts to start planning for the upcoming school year.

“We are living in unprecedented times and the COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertainty across the board, especially for our schools,” said Rep. Sobecki. “The sooner that school districts have the guidance about the steps they need to take to operate safely for the Fall, the better.”
