COLUMBUS – Today’s state job numbers showed that 31,000 more Ohioans are out of work than at this time last year. Rep. Foley released the following statement in response to the update on Ohio’s stalled economic recovery:
“As Ohio continues to rank among the worst in the country in job creation and among the highest in job loss, it reflects poorly on our state as a whole. The middle-class continues to suffer and hundreds of thousands continue to search for work. Ohioans can no longer tolerate such pathetic economic conditions. While it may just be a number to Gov. Kasich, to regular Ohioans it’s reality.”
