House Democrats accepting applications for House District 9 vacancy

COLUMBUS— The Ohio House Democratic Caucus is requesting letters of interest from individuals seeking appointment to House District 9, formerly represented by Janine Boyd.

Applicants should email resumes and cover letters to the Acting House Democratic Chief of Staff Andy DiPalma (Andy.DiPalma@ohiohouse.gov) by the close of business on Friday, April 29.

After an open application period, a screening panel of Democratic state representatives will interview applicants to make a recommendation to the caucus, who will appoint a qualified applicant to serve the remainder of Boyd’s term, which runs through December 2022.

The District 9 office remains open and fully staffed.
