Dems to continue fighting for working people, families and Ohio communities during budget conference committee

House Finance Committee Ranking Member Rep. Erica C. Crawley (D-Columbus) issued the following statement on the start of the state budget conference committee Tuesday:

“The Senate-passed version of the budget is dramatically different from the House version. Neither prioritized working families the way that they need to get ahead. We still have time to get this right. House Democrats and Ohioans want to see an opportunity for Ohio’s future with a budget that invests in working people, families and the communities they live in. We’re hopeful that we can move this budget in the right direction to ensure our recovery benefits all Ohioans—not just those at the top.”
