COLUMBUS –House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) today announced the launch of the Working Families First Tour, a statewide series of town hall events where Democratic state lawmakers will discuss ongoing efforts to protect Ohioans’ freedom to make their own health care decisions and support families. The public events will give Ohioans to opportunity to ask questions and offer input on ways to address the issues facing their communities.

“We believe all Ohio families should have the opportunity to thrive. Now more than ever, working families need real solutions, not extreme legislation meant to divide us. That’s why Democrats are hitting the road once again to share our plan to invest in children and families, and to hear from you, the people of Ohio,” said Leader Russo.

The Working Families First Tour is the fourth annual statewide town hall tour, which has included more than 75 in-person and virtual events to connect thousands of Ohioans to their state government.

Ohio House Democrats plan to discuss their Families First Agenda to protect and expand women’s access to reproductive health care, reduce costs for families, keep communities safe, and invest in our children and future.

Each town hall event will be free and open to the public, with member availability for media at each event.
