“I am honored by the trust and confidence my colleagues have placed in me, and I look forward to working with this leadership team, Democratic caucus members, staff and our Republican colleagues to create better lives and brighter futures for every Ohioan,” said Leader Russo. “Our caucus is focused on creating good-paying jobs right here in Ohio, making healthcare more affordable and accessible, tackling corruption, and delivering for working people and families. I want to thank Leader Emilia Sykes for her service to our caucus, and I am ready to continue the work of building an Ohio that works for all of us.”

Additional members of House leadership include Assistant Minority Leader Thomas West (D-Canton), Minority Whip Rep. Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park), and Assistant Minority Whip Rep. Richard Brown (D-Canal Winchester).

“I am grateful to my colleagues for their support, and I am excited to continue our work to improve the lives of our constituents. This caucus has a real plan to control this virus, get our economy back on track and create opportunity for all Ohioans. We’re working hard for you, the taxpayer, each and every day,” said Assistant Minority Leader West.

“I’m honored and grateful to have earned the support of this caucus, and I look forward to working on behalf of every Ohioan,” said Minority Whip Miranda. “Ohioans are counting on us more than ever to expand opportunity, grow jobs, and build an economy that works for everyone. Together, we can restore Ohio’s promise of better lives, brighter futures for all.”

“I am grateful for the support and confidence of my colleagues for the opportunity to serve as Assistant Minority Whip,” said Assistant Minority Whip Brown. “As we look ahead to the remainder of this General Assembly, I’m looking forward to delivering for Ohioans across the state with this strong leadership team and the members of the Democratic Caucus. This is a great team and we are ready to continue fighting for better lives and brighter futures for all Ohioans.”
