Richardson Sworn in to Serve Ohio's 86th House District

COLUMBUS – State. Rep. Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) yesterday took the oath of office for her second term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 86th House District, which consists of Marion and Union counties.

“I am humbled and eager to start my second term as your State Representative,” said Richardson. “I remain committed to keeping Ohio businesses and schools safely open, supporting and improving our schools, helping seniors and veterans, and bringing economic growth to our state.”

Prior to being elected to the House, Richardson served nine years on Marysville City Council and worked for several years as a corporate human resources professional for a Fortune 500 company. She also worked as a Leadership Professor for ROTC at Capital University and Ohio Wesleyan University.

She is a graduate of West Point and was deployed in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, earning a Bronze Star Medal. She is currently serving as a U.S. Army Reservist.

Yesterday’s session marked the beginning of the 134th General Assembly.
