Richardson Recognizes Marion Township Fire Department

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) recently honored the Marion Township Fire Department for 50 years of service. 

The township fire department is made up of 24 firefighters and paramedics. 

“Firefighters never know what they will encounter on each call, but proceed with the same courage and dedication each time,” said Richardson. “I am deeply grateful to them and to their families for their commitment to saving lives within our community. It is my honor to congratulate them and to recognize the proud 50 year legacy of all firefighters who have served Marion Township.”

Richardson presented a commendation to Fire Chief Ben Meddles, Marion Township Trustee Karen McCleary and members of the fire department Sept. 13.
