Richardson, Jordan Meet with Local School Students to Discuss Education in Ohio

COLUMBUS –State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) joined with U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan and other state legislators at the Buckeye Community School in Marion on Wednesday. 

The state and federal legislators discussed the education system in Ohio, issues students face and how the state and federal government can better serve at-risk students. 

“This visit was an opportunity for me and other state legislators to come together with our federal representation and work to find a solution to best serve the students of Ohio,” said Richardson. “Whether it is public, private or an alternative option for education, there is an answer out there to help provide the best education and experience for our students.”  

Buckeye Community School is a public high school with an alternative learning environment where students dictate their pace and path of education based on their individualized needs. Richardson expressed her enthusiasm for the performance of the Marion branch and supports the other branches located in Mansfield and London, Ohio.
