Richardson Issues Statement on Householder Vote

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) today issued the following statement regarding the vote to expel Larry Householder:

“The decision to expel Larry Householder is a necessary step forward in restoring integrity and trust to the Ohio House of Representatives. The Ohio Constitution grants the members of the Ohio House the authority to expel a member for disorderly conduct. I voted my conscience and made the serious choice to remove a member. I made my decision because I believe it was the right thing to do in order to secure the decorum and behavior expected of an elected representative. My focus will continue to be on doing the important work of moving Ohio forward on behalf of the residents of Union and Marion Counties.”
