Rep. Richardson and Members of the Veterans and Military Development Committee Tour National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence

State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) and several members of the House Veterans and Military Development Committee took a tour of the National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence in Springfield, Ohio.
“Today members of the Veterans and Military Development had the chance to look into the future. We toured the Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence in Springfield, Ohio where advanced air mobility vehicles are researched and tested,” said Richardson. “This facility is changing how we fly. Our state was the first in flight and I’m proud that this one of a kind facility continues our proven path of innovation in aviation.”
During the visit, committee members learned about the future of aerospace and aviation for our country, and how Ohio plays a pivotal role in that process between drone manufacturing, military defense, and more.
The National Advanced Air Mobility Center of Excellence features 30,000 square feet of state-of-the-art collaboration space to aid in the advancement of AAM technology in support of Wright-Patterson AFB, AFRL, NASA, the Ohio UAS Center, colleges, research institutions and private industry.
