Barhorst Votes in Favor of Veto Override

COLUMBUS –State Representative Tim Barhorst (R-Fort Loramie) made the following statement in response to the Ohio House overriding Governor DeWine’s veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act.

“I have backed HB 68 from day one,” said Barhorst. “Ohioans believe this is common sense legislation – protecting our young female athletes from having to compete against biological men and safeguarding our impressionable youth from the pressures of social and medical activism.”

The veto override of the SAFE Act will now be considered by the Ohio Senate.
