Hall Issues Statement on Tragic Death of Mykiara Jones

State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) today issued the following statement regarding the tragic death of Mykiara Jones:

“What happened to 14-year-old Mykiara Jones is a horrific tragedy for our community. I want to assure everyone that we have already gotten to work at the state level to ensure something of this nature does not happen again.

“I’ve coordinated with my legislative team, the Ohio Department of Agriculture, and our local health department to look into the possibilities of closing any loopholes and ensuring proper oversight going forward.

“My continued thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this tremendously difficult time.”
