Representative Patton Appointed Vice Chair of House Transportation Committee
COLUMBUS—State Representative Tom Patton (R-Strongsville) today was appointed by Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) to serve as the vice chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Public Safety.
Having previously served as the vice chairman of the Senate Transportation, Commerce, and Labor Committee, Rep. Patton is also on the following House committees: Aging and Long-Term Care, Finance, Public Utilities, and Rules and Reference.
“I am honored and humbled to have received this appointment from Speaker Rosenberger,” said Patton. “Having worked on numerous transportation issues and budgets throughout my years in Columbus, I am eager to continue working with the committee in this new capacity.”
Rep. Patton represents the 7th Ohio House District, which includes portions of Cuyahoga County.
