Patton Highlights Jobs Coming to Northeast Ohio

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tom Patton (R-Strongsville) is thrilled to announce that new full time positions are coming to Strongsville, Ohio. 

“It is always good to attract new businesses to our community but it is even better when an existing company chooses to expand within Northeast Ohio, a testament to the hardworking and passionate people who make up the area,” said Patton.

The Tax Credit Authority along with the help of JobsOhio has recently reviewed and approved a proposal by CertainTeed Ceilings Corporation, which will have a positive impact on Northeast Ohio. 

In total, 38 new full time positions are expected to be created as a result of the company’s expansion. It will generate $2.6 million in new annual payroll while retaining the $1.7 million payroll currently existing. 

CertainTeed Ceilings is a company that manufactures and distributes building materials for residential and commercial building applications.

A seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit of 1.398 percent was granted for this project.
