Ray Receives ONCAC Children's Champion of the Year Award

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Sharon Ray (R-Wadsworth) today was recognized by the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers as the Children’s Champion of the Year. 

Ray received the award for her support of the organization and for championing the funding of 34 Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers. The funding specifically supports the implementation and ongoing development of specialized and localized services for children that have experienced trauma.

“It is a true honor to receive this award,” said Ray. “I will always fight to make sure all Ohio children have the support and resources they need to thrive.”

ONCAC Children’s Champion of the Year Award is an award given annually to an individual that has shown outstanding support for Ohio’s Children’s Advocacy Centers.
