Sedrick Denson (D-Cincinnati) today issued a statement in opposition to House Bill (HB) 6, a Republican-sponsored bill to bail out Ohio’s nuclear power plants and subsidize two additional coal-fired power plants that service the state. “This is truly disappointing,” said Denson. “Unfortunately, this HB 6 isn’t about jobs or clean energy like proponents would like us to believe. This bill is about bending to the will of a corporation by giving them a bag full of hard working Ohioans’ money.”
