Representative Oelslager Supports Stark State College Funding

State Rep. Scott Oelslager (R-North Canton) announces the Ohio State Controlling Board has approved funding earlier this week for Stark State College of Technology. The allocation includes $20,000 for renovations on the college’s main campus in North Canton.

Oelslager serves as a member of the Ohio State Controlling Board.

“I’m happy to represent our local college and Stark County in a positive way by delivering thousands of dollars to help with the infrastructure of their higher education facilities for Stark State,” said Oelslager.

The work to be done includes implementing a study of exterior components for multiple buildings on the main campus. As a result, drawings and technical specifications will be prepared for the restorations. Additionally, the funding will provide for the management of project bids.

The amount approved for the measure totals $23,520.
