Representative Oelslager Supports Local Projects through Controlling Board Funding
State Rep. Scott Oelslager (North Canton) supported two local projects to be funded through measures that passed at the most recent Ohio State Controlling Board meeting. One measure is for Stark State College of Technology and the other is for a business in North Canton.
“While we’ve seen so many massive initiatives approved for the pandemic over the past year, I’m very pleased to keep diligently working to improve the lives of my constituents also through these local projects,” said Oelslager.
The first proposal allocates $15,000 in capital funds to Stark State College of Technology for the purpose of building upgrades.
The second proposal was requested by the Adjutant General for nearly $2,000 in renovations and improvements to the Green Road Facilities Maintenance Shop located in North Canton.
The projects were both approved during the April 5 State Controlling Board meeting.
