State Representative Riordan McClain Sworn in as Majority Whip of the Ohio House of Representatives

COLUMBUS - State Representative Riordan McClain (R-Nevada) this week, was unanimously elected by his colleagues to serve in a leadership capacity as Majority Whip of the Ohio House of Representatives.

As Majority Whip, Representative McClain will play a pivotal role in monitoring legislation and working with colleagues to advance key measures on the House floor.

“I’m honored by the support of my colleagues to be entrusted with this responsibility to join the leadership team in the Ohio House,” McClain said. “I’m eager to collaborate with my colleagues to deliver meaningful results for the people we serve.”

State Representative Riordan McClain is currently serving his fourth full term in the Ohio House of Representatives, having been appointed in January 2018 during the 132nd General Assembly. He represents the 87th House District, which includes all of Crawford, Morrow and Wyandot Counties and a portion of Marion County.
