McClain Named Chair of Ohio House Transportation Committee

COLUMBUS – State Representative Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) today was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Ohio House of Representatives Transportation Committee.

“I’m honored to serve as chair this General Assembly,” McClain said. “I look forward to working with our committee members to address the needs of this state.”

McClain was appointed to serve in this position by Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill).

“Representative McClain did excellent work as Vice Chair of the Transportation Committee in the last General Assembly, so I have no doubt in his ability to lead over the next two years,” Stephens said.

McClain was also appointed to the following committees:

• Agriculture
• Technology & Innovation
• Ways & Means
