Rep. Rachel Baker sworn in as state representative for Ohio House District 27
COLUMBUS- State Rep. Rachel Baker (D-Cincinnati) took the oath of office during the opening session of the 135th Ohio General Assembly at the Ohio Statehouse Tuesday, officially beginning Representative Baker's term as state representative for Ohio House District 27.
“It is an honor to be sworn in today to represent the 27th House District. I am eager to work with my colleagues to address the real issues facing our state, and to advocate for legislation and funding that allows Ohioans to live happy and healthy lives,” said Rep. Baker.
Rep. Baker outlined her top legislative priorities for the 135th General Assembly, which include:
· Improving access to quality healthcare, particularly mental health care;
· Strengthening public education to allow all Ohio children access to quality education;
· Creating good-paying jobs for working families.
