COLUMBUS - State Rep. Baker (D-Cincinnati) last week announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $498K in funding for the construction of a multi-use trail in the city of Wyoming. The recommendations were approved by the Clean Ohio Train Fund Advisory Board and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

“I'm excited for the investment this fund is providing to update the bike and walking trails in Wyoming and even creating a new access for kayaks!” said Rep. Baker.

The purpose of the Clean Ohio Trail Fund is to improve outdoor recreation, specifically recreational trails. The projects will enable acquisition of trail corridors, construction and improvement of trail and regional trail infrastructure, new links to statewide trails, preservation of natural corridors and connections from urban areas to recreational areas.
