$1.3 million for the City of Loveland Sidewalk Connectivity Project Announced by Rep. Baker
COLUMBUS– State Rep. Rachel Baker (D-Cincinnati) today announced $1,354,376 in Fiscal Year 2026 for the City of Loveland from the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Systemic Safety Funding Program. The proposed project will extend the sidewalk network along the north side of West Loveland Avenue from Rich Road to Elm Street.
“This infrastructure project will undoubtedly increase the safety of pedestrians by lowering the risk of pedestrian-related vehicle crashes,” said Rep. Baker. “The extension of this sidewalk network will allow the Loveland community to continue to flourish by connecting the city’s west side to its downtown area.”
The Systemic Safety Program provides funding for transportation safety projects aimed at preventing pedestrian-related crashes and roadway departure crashes. This funding is awarded through ODOT’s Highway Safety Improvement Program.
