Rep. Robinson cancels March in-district office hours and Mayfield Village Town Hall
COLUMBUS — State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today announced the cancelation of the Robinson Roundtable previously scheduled for this Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Solon Public Library, and will be rescheduling the upcoming District 6 Tour Town Hall on Monday, April 6at 6:30 PM at the Mayfield Village Community Room.
“Due to the concerns of the spread of the coronavirus, we must all limit public gatherings, so I will be canceling my in-district office hours this month and rescheduling our Mayfield Village town hall for a future date. My office will keep you all updated on the status of other already scheduled, future events,” said Rep. Robinson. “For questions and concerns about public health information for the coronavirus, utilize the Ohio Department of Health’s coronavirus resources, including www.coronavirus.ohio.gov and the coronavirus hotline at 834-4ASKODH. Onward together everyone.”
Although these do not qualify as “mass gatherings,” Rep. Robinson does not wish to add to the spread of COVID-19 and wants to promote best health practices of limiting interaction with people until there is easy access to public testing and both the federal and state responses had more time to be implemented.
A future announcement will include the rescheduled date and time of the Mayfield Village town hall and if the next in-district office hours will be canceled. The next Robinson Roundtable is scheduled for Saturday, April 11th at the Gates Mills Public Library.
