Santucci to Serve as Vice Chair of Ohio House Economic & Workforce Development Committee

COLUMBUS – State Representative Nick Santucci (R-Howland Twp.) today was appointed as Vice Chair of the Ohio House of Representatives Economic & Workforce Development Committee.

"I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as Vice Chair of this committee. With new projects like Intel showcasing our need to better prepare our workforce, this committee has a critical role in ensuring Ohio is well-positioned to attract new investments,” Santucci said. “I’ve spent my career working to bring new jobs to the Mahoning Valley and solving workforce challenges for employers, and I’m excited to continue that work with the Economic and Workforce Development Committee."

Santucci was appointed to serve in this position by Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill).

“Representative Santucci has an extensive background in workforce development that I believe makes him more than qualified for this position,” Stephens said. “I admire his dedication to boosting economic opportunity in the valley and across Ohio.”
