Santucci Highlights Controlling Board Approval of All Ohio Future Fund for Trumbull County
State Representative Nick Santucci (R-Niles) today announced that the Ohio Controlling board recently approved $17.2 Million from the All Ohio Future fund, to assist with renovations, construction, and transportation improvements for parts of Trumbull County.
“I am honored today to vote in support of $17.2 million in funding for Trumbull County,” said Representative Santucci. “This investment will support site preparation, transportation improvements, and environmental remediation across over 1,000 acres in Warren, Howland Township, and Weathersfield Township. These enhancements are designed to attract business growth and create jobs in our community.”
The project will provide regional transportation access and remediate a significant existing brownfield site, facilitating new economic development and job creation opportunities. Specifically, the project will fund the construction of a regional industrial access road serving the project site and the closure and capping of several existing oil and gas wells.
