Rep. Santucci Honored with OESCA 2025 Legislative Leadership Award

COLUMBUS—House Majority Whip Nick Santucci (R-Niles) was awarded this week with the Ohio Educational Service Center Association (OESCA) 2025 Legislative Leadership Award.

The honor recognizes exceptional commitment, innovation, and legislative leadership in advancing education policy and service excellence across Ohio. 

“I’m deeply honored to receive the 2025 OESCA Leadership Award from the Ohio Educational Service Center Association,” said Santucci. “Having worked at an ESC earlier in my career, I’ve seen firsthand the vital role these organizations play in supporting students, educators, and communities across Ohio. It is my honest opinion that ESCs are one of our state’s most underutilized assets, and I firmly believe they can play an even greater role in workforce development, early childhood education, and regional collaboration. I’m proud to continue advocating for their mission and the positive impact they make every day.”

Each year, OESCA presents this award to lawmakers who demonstrate a strong dedication to supporting Ohio’s Educational Service Centers (ESCs) and the students, educators, and communities they serve.

The Ohio Educational Service Center Association represents Ohio’s network of Educational Service Centers, which provide shared services and programs to school districts to promote efficiency, innovation, and educational excellence.
