Nick Santucci stops by Choffin Career & Technical Center for open house

Howland-based State Representative, Nick Santucci paid a visit to Choffin Career & Technical Center in Youngstown to tour the campus's open house and highlight the state budget for the beginning of the school year.
 
Santucci says the state budget plans to fund millions of dollars into career and technical facilities like Choffin.
 
"We recognize as a legislatures that career [and] tech centers are a direct pipeline into the workforce, and we're just here to get a tour and see what good things Choffin's offering for students of the Valley," Santucci said.
 
Santucci went on to say that there is specifically funding for career and tech centers to improve their infrastructure. 
 
"There will be resources for career and tech centers to help beef up so to speak their ability to serve our young people," Santucci said.
 
The open house was also a chance for junior to check out the facility before the first day of classes on Wednesday, August 23.
