Rep. Michele Grim Elected Policy Chair for Ohio Democratic Women's Legislative Caucus for 135th General Assembly
COLUMBUS– State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today announced that she was elected Policy Chair of the Ohio Democratic Women’s Legislative Caucus (ODWLC) for the 135th General Assembly.
“I am honored that my colleagues have placed their faith in me to serve as the Policy Chair for the 135th General Assembly. We need real solutions to the challenges facing Ohio women and families,” said Rep. Grim. “In light of recent policy changes in Ohio and the United States, most notably the recent and sustained attacks on abortion rights, I look forward to developing impactful policies that will benefit women and families across the state.”

The Ohio Democratic Women’s Legislative Caucus membership consists of the women members of the Ohio Senate and the Ohio House of Representatives including Minority Leader Allison Russo, former ODWLC Policy chair, Assistant Minority Whip Tavia Galonski, Former Vice Chair and Senators Catherine Ingram and Paula Hicks-Hudson, who have successfully moved from the House to the Senate.
The mission of the Ohio Democratic Women's Legislative Caucus is to develop and pass policies and legislation that improve the lives of Ohio women and their families; to identify and support emerging women leaders by serving as mentors; to educate and empower women and increase women's involvement in public life and in the Ohio General Assembly.
